Kenneth M. Walker, Q.C - Partner

Ken is originally from Saskatchewan and obtained his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Saskatchewan, he then went on to obtain his Juris Doctor from the University of Saskatchewan College of Law before moving to BC. Ken completed his articles under Wally Wozniak before being called to the bar in 1974. During his career, Ken was active in the legal community and became a Bencher, Vice-President, and President of the Law Society of British Columbia. Ken practices in all areas of the law, including: criminal defense, personal injury, family, real estate, wills, and estate planning.

  

 



Kevin A. Walker - Partner

Kevin was born and raised in Kamloops. After obtaining his BSc/BA in Earth & Ocean Sciences and Environmental Studies from the University of Victoria, Kevin moved to Japan for four years where he taught English. Upon his move back to Canada, Kevin attended the University of New Brunswick where he graduated with a Juris Doctor. Kevin did his articles at Wozniak & Walker and was called to the bar in 2009. In 2012 Kevin become a partner in the firm. Kevin represents clients in all areas of the law, but in particular: traffic, family law, real estate, corporate, wills, estates,  immigration, and civil litigation.

 



James D. Ross - Associate

James was born and raised in North Vancouver before moving to Kamloops. While obtaining his Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Chemistry and Biochemistry from UBC,  he had his works published in the Journal of Biological Chemistry and the Journal of Inorganic Biochemistry. After completing his undergraduate degree he then went on to obtain his Juris Doctor from the University of British Columbia Law School and was called to the bar in 2018. James’ primary areas of practice are in criminal defense, traffic, and civil litigation, but he assists clients in many additional areas.

 



Kristjan K. Thorsteinson - Associate

Originally from North Vancouver, Kristjan moved to Kamloops to complete his Juris Doctor at Thompson Rivers University School of Law. While attending TRU, Kristjan was on the Dean’s List and was a recipient of the Community Lawyer Prize as well as the Law Foundation Public Interest Award. Kristjan has the useful experience of having worked as a 911 dispatcher for five years before transitioning into the legal profession. Kristjan represents clients for a variety of legal matters but specifically criminal defense, traffic, and civil litigation matters.
